    >i’m looking forward to watching the late night tv shows now. it will be interesting to see how (or whether) the late night hosts cope without a team of writers backing them up. for example, i’ve always thought that jay leno was a total hack, but now i’ll be able to discern whether the ill humor is due to leno’s delivery or to the comdey writers leno hired.

    >wouldn’t you know it? leno and the other late night show hosts chickened out and are now running re-runs. i guess i’ll never know exactly why leno is so unfunny.
