Certainly, this was destined to happen, but I certainly am pleasantly surprised to find out that the House has formally apologised for slavery and Jim Crow. I thought we were at least a few decades away from that.

The nation is truly changing.

It’s worth looking past the Kilpatrick corruption drama in this regard.*

    >Actually, I think he’s guilty as hell, but more importantly I’m rather saddened that an important piece of US legislative history is tied to this due to the fact that his mother is the one of the authors of the resolution.
